The Toyota Aygo Black goes on sale in April
If you want a car to blat around a city or any congested urban area, one of the best there is is the Toyota Aygo. It’s well-built, huge fun to drive and – despite being far from the cheapest in its class – holds on to a good chunk of its value. And if you want a Toyota Aygo with all the toys there’s now a new model – the Toyota Aygo Black.
While we're getting ready for the soon-to-be-released McLaren MP4-12C, the British sports-car maker is at work on its next project. McLaren is aiming for a 2014 launch for a sports car that is larger than the MP4-12C, according to the Web site of the U.K.'s Autocar magazine. The magazine says McLaren is working with engineering firm Ricardo to develop a 5.0-liter engine that cranks out nearly 800 hp.
Hyundai has set the base price of the 2012 Veloster with six-speed manual transmission at $18,060, including destination. The three-door Veloster will also be available with six-speed EcoShift dual-clutch transmission for $19,310. Hyundai says it means for the front-wheel-drive car to appeal to the same group of buyers as the Mini Cooper, the Volkswagen Beetle and the Scion tC.
